Determination of the optimal plant size
In order to achieve good efficiency of an Absorption Refrigeration Plant (ARP), it should be sized so that it can deliver as many full-load hours per year as possible. Generally, it makes sense to use an ARP to cover the base-load of the cooling demand. In order to cover peak loads a cold storage ore compression systems could be a suitable solution.
Determining the appropriate operating parameters (temperature and capacity of the heat and the cooling side)
Plant efficiency and the required plant size is determined by the temperatures on the heating and cooling side as well on the heat rejection side. Only a proper tuning of these temperatures leads to an individual, optimal system configuration.
Selection of re-cooling components
In an absorption refrigeration system heat must be dissipated to the environment (re-cooling).
The heat dissipation to the environment can be realized by different methods:
cooling water from cooling towers li>

hybrid cooler li>
dry air cooler li>
ground surface or sea water li>
use in low temperature heating systems li>
Which re-cooling method in each case is the best option may depend on:
the presence and quality of water li>
the costs for water, sewage and electricity li>

Consideration of installation requirements (space, equipment splitting)
Plants with capacities of less than 1 MW are available in various standard modules. In individual cases all systems can be adjusted to the available space. If necessary, a plant can also be delivered in two modules to be drawn up separately.
All systems are suitable for indoor and outdoor installation.
Adaptation of the plant operation and control to the customer's requirements
The control and operation of our plants can be individually adapted to the needs of the customer.
We can equip the system in accordance with our standard PLC and associated operating software, which allows fully automatic operation of the ARP. Special control and operational requirements can be taken into account.
We can also provide the customer with the information necessary for programming and control so that the control of the plant can be integrated into the customer's own system.
